Segment I
SEGMENT I TEENAGE COURSE PROVISIONS
1. Century Driving School of Wayland. Inc. will provide a minimum of 24 hours
of classroom instruction and a minimum of 6 hours of Behind the Wheel
instruction.
2. Century Driving School of Wayland, Inc. will supply a dual-controlled
automobile, fully insured, covering each student in the school.
3. Driving tasks to be achieved:

| *Right Turns | *Backing in a Straight Line | *Entering & Exiting Highways |
| *U-Turns | *Parallel Parking | *Turning onto & off Multiple Lane Streets |
| 3 Point Turns | * Angle & Perpendicular Parking | *Michigan Left Turns |
4. Upon graduation of the course, the student will be issued a "MICHIGAN
DRIVER EDUCATION CERTIFICATE OF
COMPLETION" attesting to his/her completion of the requirements that the
Michigan Department of Education has set for segment I under the graduated
licensing law.
TERMS
The parent or guarding authorizes the student to take part in the program on
the basis that the student meets the physical requirements specified by the law
for issuance of a motor vehicle operator's license. The student must be at least
14 years & 8 months of age by the first day of class, with proper verification
ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE, passport, or a legal document verifying date of
birth, NO LATER THAN ONE BUSINESS DAY PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS. PROOF OF
AN EYE EXAM WITHIN THE PAST 12 MONTHS MUST ALSO BE PROVIDED.
The parent or guardian agrees to pay the amount of $345.00. If you are a
resident of Hopkins or Martin the fee for our Segment I program is
$325.00. Please check with us on restrictions and availability. THE FULL AMOUNT IS
REQUIRED NO LATER THAN ONE -BUSINESS DAY PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS. There
is a $25.00 charge for all returned checks. The book will be provided for the
student to use. If the book is not returned in proper condition a $15.00 fee
will be charged. *Optional: Pick-up & return of student for driving times only is
an additional $55.00. This is available within a ten-minute radius of the class
location. In case of a driving appointment cancellation, a cancellation fee of
$15.00 will be charged if 24-hour advance notice is not given. Century Driving
School of Wayland, Inc. assumes all liabilities contained within the agreement.
We reserve the fight to cancel class due to the lack of enrollment.
REFUND POLICY
If for any reason you decide to withdraw from the course before
it ends, your refund would be based on the following pro-rated schedule: The
$25.00 deposit is nonrefundable.
A. If withdrawal is after any driving has taken place, no refund will be given.
B. During the first two classes, if no Behind the Wheel lessons were taken, 25%
of the total tuition (less deposit) is refunded.
C. Withdrawal after the second class, no refund will be issued. NO REFUND WILL
BE ISSUED UNTIL ALL SUPPLIES ARE RETURNED TO INSTRUCTOR.
Notice: This school is required to be licensed by the Michigan Department of State Program Operations. If you have a complaint, which you cannot settle with the school, write: Michigan Department of State, Program Operations, Lansing, MI 48918.
Completion of driver training instruction does not guarantee qualification for a driver license. License TS001438
